Important National Parks in India; a study

 The national parks are protected areas.They offer a fascinating diversity of terrain, flora, and fauna.International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and its World Commission on Protected Areas, has defined National Parks as its category II type of protected areas.The first national park in India was established in 1921 as Hailey National Park which is now known as Jim Corbett National Park.The important National parks in India are

Aristotle, the Greek Philosapher and Scientist (384 BC- 322 BC)


Aristotle was born in Stageira in Macedonia.He was a great Greek philosapher, thinker and a Scientist.He was a disciple of Plato,the famous thinker and teacher of Alexander the Great.He believed in visual Universe.In 335 BC he established his own school at the Lyceum.He spent his life there for research,teaching and writing.His writings includes Physics, Metaphysics, Logic, Philosaphy, Biology, Linguistics, Rhetoric, Poetry, Poetics, Politics, Ethics etc.His work are collected in the 'Corpus Aristotelicum'.He died in Euboea in 322 BC at the age of 62.Theophrastus was his successor as the head of Lyceum.

Months of the year with days; Including rhyme

 "Thirty days hath September,
 April, June, and November;
 All the rest have thirty-one,
Save February, with twenty-eight days clear,
 And twenty-nine each leap year."
 Remember this traditional English rhyme to easily by heart months and days.

Alexander the Great (356- 323 BC)

The name Alexander is derived from the Greek word "Alexandros" means "protector of men".King Alexander III of Macedon is commonly known to us as "Alexander the great".Alexander was one of the greatest military generals and conqueror of the Persian Empire.He was born in Pella, Macedonia in 356 BC as the son of the Greek king (Macedonian) Philip II.
In 336 BC Philip II was assassinated and Alexander ascended the throne of Macedonia as his successor.He had created one of the largest empires of the ancient World.His empire was streching from Ionian sea to the Himalayas.He is considered as one of the most successful commanders of the world.Nobody defeated him in battle.He executed every one who comes to his path.Alexander invaded India in 326 BC, but he was forced to turn back by the demand of his troops.
He died in Babylon in 323 BC at the age of 32.Alexander IV of Macedon succeeded him.
